SMBT Dental College & Hospital was founded in the year of 2001 under the aegis of SMBT Trust. This college is affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and approved by DCI (Dental Council of India), New Delhi.
Campus
This college has a sprawling campus located at Ghulewadi, Ahmednagar. Ahmednagar is the district of the state of Maharashtra. The city is located around 120 km northeast of Pune and 114 km from Aurangabad. The campus comprises of administrative block, student block and academic block.
Facilities
The library is spacious and stocked with large number of text books, journals, magazines, etc. This college houses several classrooms which are equipped with audio-video teaching aids. There are various well-equipped laboratories for all the departments. Programmes
SMBT Dental College & Hospital runs undergraduate and postgraduate dental courses such as BDS and MDS. The duration of BDS course is four years with one year of internship training. This college offers 100 seats for BDS course and 22 seats for MDS course. For BDS course, candidates must have passed 12th class in science group with securing minimum 50 % marks and Asso-CET 50%. For admission in MDS course, student should hold BDS degree from any recognized university and 50% marks in Asso-CET. Major courses are listed below:
