UPES Registration 2027
Candidates can get complete UPES application form 2027 details:
- UPES 2027 application form will be released in September 2026 for various UG & PG level courses.
- There will be an online facility available to submit the registration form, no offline method will be available.
- Register using a valid mobile number and email ID as all communication regarding admission will be done through it.
- After registration, fill the application form with all the required details.
- Upload the scanned documents in prescribed format & size.

Application Fee:

UPES 2027 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech Courses:
- Selection Via Board Merit: Candidates should have obtained minimum 80% in class X & XII.
- One must secure a minimum 80% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in class XII.
- Selection via JEE Mains score: Applying candidates have secured 50 percentile for all B.Tech specializations except B.Tech mathematics and computing. For B.Tech (Mathematics & computing), 60 percentile is required.
For BBA & Integrated BBA- MBA:
- Selection Via Board Merit: Candidates should have obtained minimum 75% marks in class X and XII (any stream).
For B.Pharma:
- Selection via Board Merit: Candidates must have obtained minimum 75% marks in class X and XII (PCB/M).
- Selection via JEE Main score: Applying candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks in class X and XII along with 50 percentile or above in JEE Mains 2027.
UPES Dehradun Admission Procedure 2027
UPES 2027 admission procedure will be organised through online mode. Based on the entrance exam such as UPESEAT, UPESMET, UPESPAT, UPESDAT & ULSAT for securing 80% of seats.
Moreover, based on various national level exam scores such as JEE Mains, CLAT, CUET, CAT and other board merit scores, Upto 20% seats are offered to the candidates.
UPES Entrance Exam 2027
To offer admission into UPES, the university conducts its own entrance exam at university level. For admission to the B.Tech program, UPESEAT exam is conducted. For management courses, the UPESMET exam is conducted. ULSAT (LLB 5 year) for Law courses, UPESPAT for B.Pharma (4 year) and UPESDAT for design courses.
Eligible candidates can appear for the entrance exam to get admission into various courses in the university. Through online CBT mode, the UPES 2027 exam will be conducted. A total of 2 hours will be given to solve the exam. Qualified candidates in the entrance exam will be eligible for further counselling procedure.
UPES 2027 Merit List
Merit list of UPES 2027 will be released through online mode. Candidates appearing in the entrance exam will be eligible to access the result from the website. Login credentials such as application number and registered mobile number will be required to access the result.
Based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, the result will be prepared. Moreover, a separate merit list will be prepared for those candidates who appeared in other national/ state level entrance exam.
UPES Admission 2027
UPES Dehradun conducted its own university level entrance exam such as UPESEAT, UPESMAT, ULSAT, UPESDAT, etc. UPES 2027 admission is merit and entrance exam based. It offers over 20+ programmes at UG, PG and PhD level in various fields of engineering, management, science, business & more.
To offer admission, the university also accepts various national level exam scores such as JEE Main, MAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT, GMAT, SAT, CUET, etc. Based on the ranks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam, one will attain the rank and be shortlisted for the admission.
Post selection candidates will be issued a provisional offer letter to pay the acceptance fee for blocking/ reserving their seats before the last date. Based on the merit list, seats will be allocated to the candidates. University will give first preferences to those candidates who will score higher in entrance exams. In counselling, there will be rounds such as Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
