Mudra Institute of Communication in Ahmedabad Admission Test (MICAT) is a university level entrance exam regulated by MICA (Mudra Institute of Communication in Ahmedabad).

It is conducted in two phases i.e MICAT I & MICAT II every year to provide admission to PGDM/ PGDM- Communication programmes. Candidates with a valid scorecard of CAT, XAT or GMAT exam can also apply for admission. Candidates are suggested to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria below before applying.

• MICAT 2026 registration has been started for Phase I & registration for MICAT II will be started from 25th November 2025. 
• Candidates are able to complete the registration procedure through online mode, no offline method will be available. 
• Those candidates who have registered for MICAT phase I exam & want to take phase II exam will be required to register again. 
• Applying candidates are required to fill an application form with personal, academic & communicational details. 
• After form filling, candidates have to upload the signature & photograph in prescribed format. 
• Registration portal of MICAT I is open till 20th November 2025 & for MICAT II till 29th January 2026. 
• There will be no application correction facility provided after form submission, so candidates must be careful while filling the form. 
• Before submission of application, recheck it & do not forget to take a hardcopy of registration exam form for further usage. 

Application Fee: 

• Rs. 2100/- is the application fee for each candidate. 
• An online facility is available to submit the registration fee. 
• Candidates have to submit a separate application fee for MICAT I & II.

MICAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the MICAT 2026 application form, candidates must go through the complete eligibility criteria below: 

• Qualification: Those applying for MICAT exam must hold a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 pattern) or an equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 
• Marks: Candidates must score 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in qualifying exam to be eligible. 
• To be eligible, candidates have to submit the certificate of degree completion compulsorily by 30th June 2026, if not provided their admission gets cancelled. 
• Those candidates who will be in their final year or appearing for their bachelor’s degree exam can apply. 
• Appearing candidates have to submit their passing certificate degree by December 31st, 2026 to apply. 
• Candidates who will complete their bachelor’s degree by June 2026 will not be eligible to complete the registration procedure of MICAT 2026 as per MICA.

• On the homepage, press the “MICAT 2026 Registration” link. 
• You will be taken to the instructions & registration link page.
• Click on the “Register” option after reading all the instructions.

• After registering, an application form will appear on the screen. 
• Fill out the application form with academic, communication, etc details. 
• Upload the required documents in prescribed format & size.
