• Qualification: Candidates should have qualified class 12th level exam or equivalent from a recognized board. 
• Subject: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in final year in 2026 will also be eligible for admission. 

For LLB Course:  

• Qualification: Candidates must be graduated or post graduated in any discipline from Punjabi University, Patiala or any equivalent test from any recognized university. 
• Marks: To be eligible for the exam, candidates must score 45% marks for general & 40% marks for reserved category candidates. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation in 2026 will also be eligible to apply. 

For MBA Course: 

• Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must be graduated in any discipline from a recognized board. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates need to score at least 50% marks to be eligible. 
• Appearing: Moreover, candidates appearing in the final year of graduation in 2026 can apply. 

For MCA Course: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have BCA/ B.Com/ BA/ B.Sc in graduation level to apply. 
• Subjects: One must have Mathematics as a mandatory subject in class 10+2 level to be eligible. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 50% marks for general & 45% marks for reserved category candidates. 

CGC Jhanjeri 2026 Admission Procedure 

Admission procedure for CGC Jhanjeri 2026 will be organized through online mode only. University will organize admission procedures for different courses. Two different methods will be used to take admission such as through state quota & direct admission. 

For those candidates who will apply through state quota, their counselling will be done through PTU university. 5% seats in B.Tech and non-AICTE UG courses will be provided through PTU counselling process. Based on overall profile, entrance exam scores, academic background and other versatility and achievements of candidates, direct admission will be provided by the university. 

CGC Jhanjeri 2026 Admission Scholarship

University conducts tests for shortlisting candidates for scholarships of Rs. 10 crore. The authority conducts the test i.e CGC Jhanjeri Open Scholarship for Higher Education (JOSH) to provide scholarships. 

To participate in the scholarship test, candidates will need to register through online mode from the website. The percentage wise criteria for candidates to be eligible for the scholarship is mentioned below in tabular format:
