CAT 2027 Registration
To know CAT exam 2026-27 registration date and application related information, go through below provided section:
- CAT 2026 notification, application and other related events details will be available online on the website as well in several newspaper.
- Fresh applicants must ensure complete CAT exam details provided on the information bulletin and on the respective IIM website they wish to apply.
- CAT 2027 application process will begin in the first week of August 2026.
- Registration link will be active only through online mode. No forms will be accepted through any other mode.
- Candidates are required to select any 5 test cities as per their order of preference.
- Applicants must make sure to register with valid mobile number and email address. All communications will be done through it so keep it updated.
CAT Registration Fee:
- ST/ SC/ PWD candidates – ₹1300
- All other candidates – ₹2600
Payment mode: Applicants need to pay fee only once, irrespective of number of institutes, he/she is applying for. Fee is non-refundable. Only online mode (Billdesk/ PayU) is provided to pay form fee.

CAT Exam Eligibility 2027
Know complete details about CAT Eligibility 2026 in below provided section:
- Qualifying level: Students having Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised board/ university are eligible.
- Minimum marks: Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent. For ST/ SC/ PWD candidates, 45% marks should be obtained
- Appearing candidates: Those students appearing in the final year of Bachelors degree / equivalent exam or awaiting results can also apply.
- Age/ Attempt limit: No upper or lower age limit is prescribed. Also there is no restrictions on the number of attempts.
- Work experience: It is not compulsory to have work experience in order to appear for CAT exam.
Any one of the below condition is to be fulfilled in order to apply for CAT 2026:
- Completed Bachelors degree with required percentage of marks.
- He/she should be in final year of Bachelors degree with required percentage
- Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA (CMA)/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) with required percentage.

- Visit the online website (Direct Link will be given above).
- Click Register option under – ‘New Candidate Registration.’
- Create profile providing basic details and generate OTP. Validate and get User ID and Password.
- Now login to CAT website and fill application form.
- Provide personal – communication address, emergency contact details, etc.
- Now upload scanned documents as asked.
- Fill academic details such as – SSC/10th/ equivalent details/ HSC/ 12th/ equivalent/ diploma course details/ Bachelors degree/ masters degree & other professional degree details.
- Enter work experience, programmes, test city in the form.
- Confirm declaration and a confirmation email will be sent to candidates registered email id and mobile number. Print the application form.
