Once before applying for JIPMER PG 2027, one must go through the complete eligibility norms below:
For INI CET:
- Nationality: Candidates who are Indian National/ OCI/ PIO or Foreign Nationals can apply for admission.
- Qualification: One must possess an MBBS degree for MD/ MS/ DM or MCh and a BDS degree for MDS courses from a university recognized by NMC/ MCI.
- Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must obtain at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST category or foreign national) to apply.
- Internship: To be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed a 12- month rotating internship or practical training by 31st January 2027.
- Appearing: Those candidates appearing in their qualifying exam can also apply for admission.
For INI SS:
- Age: To apply, the maximum age must not exceed 45 years as on 1st January 2026, with relaxations of upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.
- Qualification: Applying candidates should obtain a MD/ DNB degree to apply for DM courses and MD/ MS degree for M.Ch courses.
- Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must pass their qualifying degrees with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST category).
- Registration: Candidates should be registered with the Central/ State Medical Registration Council to be eligible for admission.
- Appearing: Applicants appearing in the final year of qualifying degree will also be allowed to apply for admission.
