Admission procedure of JIPMER PG is organised twice in every year in January & July session based on INI CET & INI SS exam. AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) is responsible for conducting INI SS & INI CET entrance exam.

JIPMER PG 2027 Eligibility Criteria

For INI CET:
- Nationality: Applicants who are Indian National/ OCI/ PIO or Foreign Nationals can apply for admission.
- Qualification: Applying candidates must possess an MBBS degree for MD/ MS/ DM or MCh and a BDS degree for MDS courses from a university recognized by NMC/ MCI.
- Marks: To apply for admission, candidates must obtain at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST category or foreign national) in the qualifying exam.
- Internship: One must have completed a 12-month rotating internship or practical training by 31st January 2027.
- Appearing: Those appearing candidates in their qualifying exam can also apply for admission.
For INI SS:
- Age: The maximum age must not exceed 45 years as on 1st January 2027, with relaxations of upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.
- Qualification: Candidates should obtain a MD/ DNB degree to apply for DM courses and MD/ MS degree for M.Ch courses.
- Marks: One must pass their qualifying degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying exam.
- Registration: To be eligible, candidates should be registered with the Central/ State Medical Registration Council.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying degree can also be allowed to apply for admission.
