State Exam
For the admission in B.Tech courses offered by the colleges and institutes of Arunachal Pradesh, the candidates are required to take the national level entrance test named JEE Main 2016. This entrance exam is the first step for admission in undergraduate engineering program. The score card of JEE Main 2016 is considered for the admission in top engineering colleges of the state.
B.Tech Admission 2016
The candidates who want to pursue full time undergraduate engineering courses from the Arunachal state are required to make the request for the JEE Main 2016 application form commences from the month of November, 2016. The examination of JEE Main 2016 entrance exam has been counducted in the month of April, 2016. The candidates applying for the B.Tech course must ensure that they are satisfying the following eligibility conditions:
- The candidates must have completed 12th or its equivalent exam from the recognized board/University with physics, chemistry and math subjects.
- The age of the unreserved category candidates must be on or after 1 October, 1990 at the time of admission in the particular institution. Age Relaxation of 3 years is provided to the reserved category candidates.
- Besides this, the domicile requirements of the candidates must be satisfied.

Documents Required
List of compulsory documents needed on the day of admission are:
- Class X original mark sheet and passing certificate
- Class XII original mark sheet and passing certificate
- Candidates domicile
- Transfer Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Certificate of Caste/Physical Disability (if any)
- Hard copy of the seat allotment letter
- JEE Main 2016 score card
Selection Process
The candidates are shortlisted for the admission in undergraduate engineering program on the basis of the marks secured in JEE Main 2016 exam. The counselling is organized for the shortlisted candidates only. The students who have cleared the JEE Main 2016 entrance exam are required to go further for the counselling process. For appearing in the counselling, make the payment of prescribed counselling fee and fill all the choices for the required college and the branch. The students can fill the choices as many as possible. Distribution of seats is on the basis of category, JEE 2016 merit list, availability of seats in the college and the choices filled by the candidates. Download the seat allotment letter and report to the allotted college along with all the necessary documents for the further admission process for session 2016.
