BHU 2025 Syllabus

BHU 2025 Syllabus will be varied for UG, PG and MBA Programmes. Candidates must check the complete syllabus for various UG and PG Programmes from the information bulletin. Below we have provided the syllabus details of UET and PET for various UG and PG Programmes.

Students appearing for the CUET 2025 exam must check following details:

In Section IA & IB – Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative [Literary Aptitude & Vocabulary]. Candidates must prepare from the NCERT 12th syllabus for section II.

In Section III- General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning , General Mental Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Grade 8) related questions will be asked.

For UG Programmes

For admission into various UG Programmes, CUET UG will be held. The Syllabus of UG exam will be entirely based on 10+2 level. The question paper will include different topics as per the stream and programme opted by the applicants.

B.A (Hons) Arts Programme:

For admission into BA (Hons) Arts Programme, the syllabus for entrance test will consist of questions from Basic knowledge of Plants & Animals, General Mental Ability, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Environment & its Pollution, Natural Resources of Industry, Population Explosion, Solar System, Climate & Weather, Human Body, Human Health, Common Diseases, Production of Food & Raw Materials, History, Indian cultural heritage and Indian Thoughts, literature and art. The question paper will also include two sets of MCQs on Language comprehension.

B.Com (Hons)/B.Com (Hons) – F.F.M Programme:

For admission into B.Com (Hons)/B.Com (Hons) – F.F.M Programme, the syllabus for entrance test will contain questions from Accountancy, Money and Banking, Financial Markets, Basic Mathematics, Financial Statement Analysis, Business Organization, Economics, Business Environment and Business Management. Also the paper will contain questions from Computer basics and Current Economic Affairs.

For PG Programmes

For admission into various PG Programmes, CUET PG exam will be held. The Syllabus of PG exam will be from graduation level topics. The question paper will contain different topics as per the programme selected by the candidate.

M.Com Programme:

For admission into M.Com Programme,  exam will contain questions from Accounting and Business Finance, Income Tax in Section A. Section B will consist of questions from  Business Law including Company Law, Monetary Theory and Banking,Statistics and Business Organization & Management, Business Economics.

MCA Programme:

For admission into MCA Programme, the syllabus will contain topics from Mathematical Aptitude & Analytical and Logical Reasoning. Analytical and Logical Reasoning section will contain questions for checking a candidate’s knowledge in logical conclusion, graphical/data interpretation etc.

Mathematical Aptitude section will contain questions based on Logarithms, Inequalities, Permutation and Combination, Binomial Expansion, 2-D Coordinate Geometry, Matrices and Determinants, Progressions, Equations (up to degree 2), Function and Relation, Basics of Calculus, Basic Concepts of Probability, Complex Arithmetic.

M.A in Mass Communication:

For admission into M.A Programme (Mass Communication), the entrance test will contain questions based on General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Logical Quantitative and Analytical Abilities, Aptitude and Language Proficiency including Proficiency in English Language.

Ph.D Programmes

For admission into Ph.D Programmes, the entrance test will be divided into three sections, Test A, Test B and Test C. Test A will contain questions based on Logical and analytical thinking, General knowledge, Knowledge of computer usages, Quantitative Ability and language skills.

Test B will contain questions focusing on testing the subject knowledge of the applicants in the discipline he/she has done Post-graduation. Test C will contain research proposal and interview.
