BHU 2026BHU 2026 Exam will be conducted in the last week of May 2026 for CUET UG. Application Form will be released in the third week of February 2026 for CUET UG courses and in the last week of December 2025 for CUET PG courses. There are various courses under UG & PG level programmes offered at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Previously, NTA conducts BHU UET & PET examination for UG & PG courses. From 2022, admission is provided to the candidates on the basis of CUET UG & PG level courses. Therefore, to get admission at BHU it will be mandatory to have a valid score in CUET UG & PG entrance examination. Those who will clear the CUET examination will have to attend the BHU counselling procedure for further admission. BHU itself will release the application form for MBA courses on the website.

  • BHU 2026 application form will be released in the third week of February 2026 for CUET UG courses.
  • Candidates will be able to fill and submit the application form through online mode, no offline method will be provided.
  • For CUET PG courses, the application form will be released in the last week of December 2025.
  • To apply for the exam, candidates will have to enter the basis details in the given section.
  • Enter the details such as academic qualification, personal details, communicational details, etc.
  • After filling the details, upload the requisite documents such as photograph, signature, & other certificates in specific format.
  • In case of any mistake in form, candidates will be able to make changes in it during correction facility.

How to Apply for BHU 2026

Step by step procedure to fill the BHU 2026 form is provided below:

  • Step-1: Visit the website of NTA (Link will be given above).
  • Step-2: For UG course, visit CUET UG website and for PG course visit CUET PG website.
  • Step-3: Click on the given registration link on the homepage.
  • Step-4: Start with a registration procedure by entering the basis information.
  • Step-5: An OTP will be sent to the registered email ID & phone number.
  • Step-6: Start filing the application form with qualification, contact details.
  • Step-7: Upload the requisite documents such as photograph, signature & other documents in prescribed format.
  • Step-8: Recheck the filled details once before submitting it.
  • Step-9: Now submit the prescribed amount of application fee using available gateways.
  • Step-10: A confirmation page will appear in the screen after paying the fee.
  • Step-11: Take a hardcopy of the application form for further usage in admission.

BHU 2026 Application Correction

Application correction of BHU 2026 will be started after completing the application form procedure. It will be started from the third week of April 2026 for CUET UG & from the second week of February 2026 for CUET PG.

Candidates will be able to make correction in the form through online mode only. Those registered candidates will have to login using allotted details to make changes in the form. This facility will be provided for two to three days only on the website of NTA.

BHU 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Here are the complete BHU 2026 eligibility criteria for both UG & PG Courses:

For CUET UG Courses:

  • Nationality: Applying candidates must be Indian National Citizen.
  • Qualification: Candidates must qualify class 12th level exam from any recognized board or university to be eligible.
  • Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for CUET UG examination.

For CUET PG Courses:

  • Qualification: Applying candidates must be graduated in any stream from a recognized university/ institute.
  • Age Limit: There will be no age limit criteria to apply for CUET PG courses.
  • Appearing: Those final year appearing candidates will also be eligible to apply.

BHU 2026 Exam Pattern

BHU 2026 exam pattern is provided below in the given section:

For CUET UG:

  • Mode of Exam: The exam will be held in Hybrid mode (pen paper and CBT mode).
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the question paper.
  • Subjects: Total 63 subjects will be there in the exam.
  • Duration: 45 minutes will be given for all test papers (except for Accountancy, Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices & General Test which would be 60 minutes).
  • Languages: Total 13 types of languages will be available.
  • Total Questions: Applicants will have to attend 40 questions out of 50 for all test papers & 50 questions out of 60 for general test.
  • Marking Scheme: 5 marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

For CUET PG:

  • Exam Mode: Candidates will have to appear in exam through online (CBT) mode.
  • Duration: Total 1 hour 45 minutes will be given to solve the exam.
  • Question Type: Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions will be asked.
  • Language: Hindi and English language is available. Acharya paper will be asked in Sanskrit language only.
  • Number of Questions: 75 questions in total will be asked in each paper.
  • Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for each correct response.
  • Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.

BHU 2026 Syllabus

There will be three sections in CUET UG exam such as Section IA & 1B (languages), Section 2 (Domain) & Section 3 (General Test). We have also mentioned the topics which comes under each section:

For UG Courses:

  • Section 1A & 1B: The NTA will test the languages through Reading Comprehension, Literacy and Narrative, Aptitude and Vocabulary.
  • Section II: Agriculture, Arts Education Sculpture, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Geography, Environmental Studies, Computer Science.
  • Section III: Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Analytical reasoning, General Awareness.

For CUET PG, the authority will ask the questions from the relevant field/ course opted by the candidates as: Pharmacy, Public Health, Transport Science and Technology, Music, Home Science, Hindu Science, Fine Arts, Medical Laboratory Technology, Material Science and Nanotechnology, Zoology, Sanskrit.

The BHU 2026 exam through CUET UG will be conducted in various centers such as: Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman Nicobar, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, etc.

BHU 2026 Admit Card

The BHU 2026 admit card will be released in the second week of May 2026 for CUET UG exam. For CUET PG, it will be released in the first week of March 2026 tentatively. Applicants will have to visit the website through online mode to download the admit card. The NTA will first release the exam city slip for both CUET UG & PG examination.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and date of birth to access the admit card. It will be mandatory to download it and keep the hardcopy safe till the admission procedure. As without having a valid hardcopy of the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit inside the exam hall.

BHU 2026 Answer Key

The answer key for both CUET UG & PG exam will be released separately on the website of NTA. Those appeared candidates in the exam will be able to access the answer key through online mode. Firstly, the provisional answer key will be published by the authority.

In case of any discrepancy in the answer key, candidates can easily raise an objection against it. It will be released in the form of PDF. After analyzing all the raised objections, the authority will release the final answer key on the website.

BHU 2026 Result

BHU 2026 Result will be declared through online mode. It will be released in the last week of June 2026 for CUET UG and in the last week of April 2026 for CUET PG exam. Candidates are advised to keep their login details ready to download the result from the website.

Login credentials such as Application number and Date of birth will be required to download the result. Based on the final answer key, the result will be prepared by the authority. It will consist with a detail such as candidates name, roll number, marks scored in each subject, total marks & qualifying status. Applicants are advised to keep the hardcopy of the result till the counselling procedure.

BHU 2026 Cut Off

The BHU 2026 cut off criteria depends on the various factors such as difficulty level of exam, number of appeared candidates, pass cut off trends, etc. It will be released through online mode only. It will be minimum cut off marks that candidates have to score to qualify the exam.

NTA will not release any cut off marks for CUET exam. Hence, BHU will itself release the cut off marks on its website. Those candidates who will score higher marks then the cut off will be eligible to participate in the counselling procedure. after counselling, the admission will be provided to the candidates.

BHU 2026 Counselling

The BHU 2026 counselling procedure will be organized after the declaration of result. It will be organized through online mode only. Those qualified candidates in the exam will be invited to participate in the counselling procedure. BHU will itself organize the counselling procedure to provide admission.

Admission will be given to the candidates after the submission of required amount of admission fee and verification round. Candidates will have to carry the necessary documents for verification procedure. After verifying the documents, the admission will be given to the candidates.
