Abasaheb Kakade College of Pharmacy, Ahmednagar

Abasaheb Kakade College of Pharmacy, Ahmednagar was founded in the year 2006.  The college is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University and approved by the All Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The college aims to prepare pharmacist of the future.

Campus

Abasaheb Kakade College of Pharmacy is situated in Bodhegaon of  Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra. The campus is well-connected by roads, rails and roads. Students can easily reach the campus by public or private transport.

Facilities

The college has an air-conditioned computer laboratory having latest configuration computers equipped with internet facility. The college has an exclusive library housing number of textbooks, periodicals, national and international journals. The lecture halls are equipped with audiovisual equipment to facilitate effective learning. There are adequate facilities for sports including indoor and outdoor games. The college organizes cultural events, concerts, workshops, competitions and debates at regular intervals to enhance skills of the students.

Programmes

Presently, the college is running only undergraduate pharmacy course. The duration of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is 4 academic years. The college follows the academic pattern as prescribed by AICTE. Each academic year is divided into 2 semesters. The college has an annual intake of 60 seats per year for this course. Placement

The placement cell of the college has the responsibility for the placement of graduate students of pharmacy. The cell organizes various programmes to enhance the employability skills of the students. Students are trained as per the industry requirement along with providing the career counselling.
