Advanced Group of Pharmacy Colleges, Kanpur
The Advance Institute of Biotech & Pharmaceutical Sciences is the first college of “Advance Group” which was established in the year 2004. It is the college of Pharmacy which offered the M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and approved by PCI. The courses offered in the Pharmacy College are Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy. The institute is affiliated with UPTU, Lucknow. The motto of the institute is to build the highly brained pharmacists in the India.
Campus
The Advanced Group of Pharmacy College is located from 2 km from IIT Kanpur. The sprawling area if the institute is 5 acres lush green land. The campus is situated at the main National Highway-2, N.H.Road. The lush green campus with sprawling lawn is aesthetically planned and designed with exquisite facilities. The campus of the institute is equipped with all modern amenities. The campus is auto linked with the other parts of the city well by public transport.
Facilities
The Institute has many facilities established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It has a well organized library which includes all the related text books of the Pharmacy. There are numbers of thesis available in the college library. The library will update in the regular basis. It also provides the separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. It has well maintained laboratories, classrooms, canteen, mess, sports ground, auditorium, workshops, Conference hall, lecture hall, study room, etc.
Programmes
The facilities offered in the Advance Group of Pharmacy College are Bachelor in Pharmacy and Master in Pharmacy. The course of the B.Pharma is of 4 years and that of M.Pharma is 2 years.
