Appasahib Birnale College of Pharmacy, Sangli

Appasahib Birnale College of Pharmacy, Sangli came into existence in the year 1991. It is permanently affiliated to the Shivaji University, Kolhapur. All the pharmaceutical courses run by the college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, and Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai. The college has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.

Campus

Appasahib Birnale College of Pharmacy is situated near to Pimpri-Chinchwad Industrial Belt. It is 22 Km away from Pune Railway Station, 24 Km from Pune Airport, 19 Km from Shivaji Nagar Bus (ST) Stand, 24 Km from Swargate ST stand, 0.5 Km from Nigdi Bus Stop.

Facilities

The college facilities includes well-designed lecture halls, computer lab with internet access, auditorium, seminar hall, conference hall, guest house, playground, etc. It also has fully fledged gymnasium equipped with latest machines. Hostel facility is also available for girls and boys candidates. The college also organizes extracurricular activities like sports, cultural events, etc at regular intervals. Bus facility is also provided to the college students.

Appasahib Birnale College of Pharmacy offers diploma in pharmacy, bachelor of pharmacy and master of pharmacy. The total intake capacity for D.Pharm, B.Pharm and M.Pharm is 60 seats, 120 seats and 34 seats respectively. M.Pharm seats are divided into four disciplines.
