Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences (CIPTAHS), Kolkata was established in the year 2002. It has become one of the best institutions in the Howrah. It has approval from AICTE & PCI, New Delhi. The institution is affiliated with West Bengal University of Technology. Campus
The institution has a sprawling with good learning environment, set in picturesque lush green land near Mumbai-Kolkata National Highway (NH-6) in the township of Uluberia, about 30 kms from the District Headquarters, Howrah and 34 kms from Kolkata. The campus of the institute is well-connected by bus route as well as railways. The campus contains the all necessary facilities for the students as well as institute’s staff members.

The mission and Endeavour of the placement cell of the institution is to enhance and facilitate the process of gainful employment. It tries to provide the jobs as well as mid-career level employment opportunities. It conducts the job fairs and industrial tours every year. The cell conducts the on-campus and off-campus placement. Many companies visited the campus like German Remedies, Modi Mundi Pharma, Cipla, Nestle, Glaxo and GSK Pharma etc.
