Ch. Devi lal college of Ayurveda was established in the year 2002. The institution imparts academic education and career in the medical field and is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.

Campus

The institution is located in north-east belt on Buria village road which is about 4 km from Jagadhri general bus stand, 8 km. from main railway station, Jagadhri and ½ km in west from Buria Gurudwara towards Jagadhri.

Facilities

The institution has a well-stocked audio-video library with a gathering of books, journals, magazines and project reports. The institution provides separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls along with the mess facility. It has air-conditioned lecture theatres equipped with the modern communication system to facilitate learning-teaching process. The institution has a well-facilitated computer centre. It has an auditorium for various cultural events. The institution has a cafeteria and also provides sports facility (both indoor and outdoor) to the students.

Programmes

Ch. Devi Lal College of Ayurveda offers undergraduate programme in the medical field. The institution offers degree in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.). The duration of the course is five and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year. The candidates those want to pursue Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in qualifying examination taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50%.
