DKS College of Agriculture and Research Station (DKSCARS), Bhatapara

Dau Kalyan Singh College of Agriculture & Research Station is recently established centre of IGKV. It was established on 1st October, 2012 at Bhatapara. This college of agriculture comes under the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vidyalaya. The aim of the college is to provide the better life for farmer’s in agriculture through technologies. The college is affiliated with IGKV and approved by Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR). It offers the degree courses of 4 year duration in B.Sc. agriculture.

Campus

The campus of the DKS College is located in the area of Bhatapara. There are many other campuses which are affiliated with the IGKV University. The college is spread over the 5 acres of lush green land which is far away from pollution. The campus of the DKS College has various facilities provided in the college boundaries. The faculty of the campus is good in teaching. It has well established labs, classrooms, sports ground, etc.

Facilities

The variety of facilities is provided by the DKS College. The college has a central library in which numbers of books, journals, thesis, periodicals are available. It has also a farm for the research and practical knowledge. It has well furnished instrument labs, computer labs, spacious classrooms, ventilated laboratories, workshops, hostels, etc. It has its own bus facilities for day scholars.

Programmes

The course offered by the DKS College is in Undergraduate level. It offers the course for Agriculture in B.Sc.  In order to take the admission in B.Sc. agriculture, the candidates have to pass the intermediate with 60% marks.
