Government Pharmacy Institute, Bariatu, Ranchi is the only Pharmacy Institute in Jharkhand established in 1975 by the Govt. of Bihar. It is the only Govt. Institute under the Ministry of Health. It is the best institute for Diploma in Pharmacy course in Jharkhand. It is approved by AICTE & PCI, New Delhi. It offered courses in Postgraduate & Doctorate level.
Campus
It is situated in center of Ranchi city. The students and all levels of staff facilities are vibrant. You can reach here by any suitable means of transportation as it is close to railway station. Admission to Diploma in Pharmacy programme is done by Jharkhand Competitive Entrance Examination Board, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi. The minimum qualification is intermediate/10+2 for its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Math for D.Pharm programme. Yearly system of education is followed in the institute.
