Guru Kashi University, Punjab is affiliated to Punjab Technical University and was formed in the year 2011. The university is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). The university offers education in various disciplines like management, computer applications, agriculture and engineering and technology.
Guru Kashi University is located in Sardulgarh Road, Talwandi Sabo, Punjab. The campus is spread over an area of 45 acres of land. The campus can be easily accessed through any means of transportation by road,rail and air.
The university has a library which consists of more than 54000 volumes of books, more than 100 journals. The university has a computer centre, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with mess facility, air-conditioned and spacious classrooms, conference room, auditorium, cafeteria, transportation facility, Banking facility, medical facility etc.
The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in management. It offers undergraduate programme like Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the field of management. The duration of the MBA programme is two years with a compulsory summer internship project. The University also offers diploma, UG, PG and doctoral level courses in agriculture field.

The university has a corporate resource centre which provides placement assistance to the students. The CRC also perform various functions like counseling of students for career development, undertaking programmes for professional skills development (PSD) like written communication skills, verbal communication skills, group discussions and interview techniques, organizing industrial tours and summer training, conducting lecture sessions by eminent professionals from industries and educational organizations of national and international repute and maintaining constant liaison with the concerned HR personnel of the companies by visiting the campus and with other institutes in the region for ‘off-campus’ placements.
