The Hygia Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Lucknow was founded in 2004. The institute is dedicated to pharmacy education. The institution is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (formerly known as AKTU). It is approved by the AICTE & Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.

The campus of the institution is located in Ghazipur Balram, Ghaila road, Lucknow (UP), India. It has sprawling lush green campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
