Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi

The IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) was come into existence in the year of 1963 by the Government of India. It is the only institution among the top 10 business schools of India that offers MBA-IB course. It was confirmed to the status of Deemed University in the year 2002. This institution was set up with a goal to professionalise the country’s foreign trade management and increase exports.

Campus

The IIFT has two campuses running in Delhi and Kolkata. Delhi campus is situated in Qutab Institutional Area, near by the Jawaharlal Nehru University and the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi. The campus is spread over around 6 acres of land. The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport, which is just 10.3 km away from the campus.

Facilities

This institution facilitates their students with all the major and modern facilities. The IIFT Library is equipped with around 84,000 volumes and subscriptions to 800 journals. It also has a unique collection of publications of FAO, IMF, OECD, UNCTAD, UNCTC, World Bank. There is also a Library-cum-Reading Room located in the hostel. It also provides hostel with mess facility to their students. The IT centre of IIFT is equipped with latest configurations.
