Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow

Indian Institute of Management (IIML), Lucknow is the fourth member in the IIM family of management schools. This institute came into existence in the year of 1984 and inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru (first prime minister of India). The IIML is recognized as an “Institution of Excellence” by the India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). It also works as a mentor institution for IIM Rohtak and IIM Kashipur.

Campus

This institute is located in Lucknow city which is famous for its cultural heritage. The campus of IIML covers a total area of 190 acres of land. The campus provides a perfect ambience for students learning. The campus is situated in the surroundings of Prabandh Nagar which is just 31 kms from Lucknow Airport and 21 km away from Lucknow Railway Station.

Facilities

This institute provides all the major and modern facilities which help students to concentrate in their studies. It offers accommodation facilities to their students and faculty. A computer centre will be opened 24 hours for students. It has a two-storied library called “Gyanodaya” well-stocked with thousands of books, journal, magazines, etc. it also provides a mini departmental store, STD/PCO Communication Centre, well-maintained Cafeteria, Post Office, Bank, Health Centre and transport facilities.
