Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga

Lalit Narayan Mithila University was started on 5th August, 1972 by an ordinance of the Government of Bihar. It is a public university approved by UGC (University Grants Commission). It is governed by the Bihar State Universities Act, 1976. This university was previously known as Mithila University, which was renamed to Lalit Narayan Mithila University in the year 1980.

Campus

This university has a spacious campus located in Kameshwaranagar, Darbhanga district of the state of Bihar. The campus is well-connected by the road and rail transportation. The nearest railway station is Dharbhanga Junction.

Facilities

This university has a spacious library which is stocked with a vast collection of books, journals, periodicals, reports, cases, etc. It also has a sports club which organizes various indoor and outdoor games activities such as Badminton, Volleyball, Chess, Carom and many others. It has an advanced computer centre which is equipped with latest desktops and internet connectivity. Admission

Students are required to complete the graduation in any stream from any recognized college or university for admission in three-year law degree course. Candidates can apply for admission by filling the admission form. The admission form can be obtained by the college.
