Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, Hisar

Maharaja Agrasen Medical College is a premier medical college which was established in the year 1994 and offers academic education and training in the medical field. The institution is affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).

Campus

The institution is situated in Hisar, Harayana. The institution is well-established with all the necessary facilities and is designed by keeping in mind the requirements of a medical college.

Facilities

The institution has separate residential facilities for boys and girls. It has a well-facilitated computer centre. The institution has air-conditioned lecture theatres with the facility of OHP, laptop and projectors to facilitate in the learning-teaching process. It has a library which consists of books, journals, magazines and periodicals. It has an auditorium and also provide various other recreational facilities to the students such as sports facility, cafeteria etc.

Programme

Maharaja Agrasen Medical College offers undergraduate programme in the medical field. The institution offers course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The duration of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course is five and half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year.

Internship

The students pursuing Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) has to do the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) which refers to one-year compulsory work in the hospital attached to the medical college or in any other approved hospital as allowed in some medical colleges(also known as Teaching Hospital), for a period of one year.
