N.S. Soti Law College, Sangli
N.S. Soti Law College, Sangli was established in the year of 1969 by the Latthe Education Society. The college got affiliation from the Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The law courses are recognized by the Bar Council of India.
The college is located in the Rajnemi Campus, Wood House Road, Sangli. The college campus is situated near Sangli Madhavnagar Bus Route. The college has an excellent infrastructure which comprises separate academic & administrative block.
The library has a rich collection of text books, back volumes, reference books, journals and reports etc. apart from current legal periodicals. The college offers facilities of Gymkhana, computer lab, seminar hall, canteen, medical, indoor & outdoor games, staff room, conference hall, etc. There is a moot court hall to improve the student’s advocacy skill & communication skill. The classrooms are well-equipped with the LCD projector & teacher learning aids.
Narayandas Sarwottamdas Soti Law College, Sangli runs undergraduate & postgraduate law courses, i.e. Bachelor of Law (LLB). The LLB courses are: Bachelor of General Laws (LLB (General)), Bachelor of Special Laws (LLB (Special)), Bachelor of Social Laws (BSL), Bachelor of Laws (LLB (Special)) & Master of Law (LLM). The college also runs diploma course, i.e. Diploma in Income Tax and Sales Tax. The BSL degree is recognized as equivalent to other degrees like as B.Sc, B.Com, BA, etc.

Students can pursue three years LLB programme after passing their graduation degree from a recognized university. Students who complete second years of LLB examination of the three years LLB degree course will be qualified to obtain the LLB (Gen.) degree while the three years LLB programme will qualify them for the LLB (Special) Degree. Those students seek admission into 5 years LLB course, they have to pass their Higher Secondary Examination. The university awards the BSL degree to the students after passing three years of the five years law programme & LLB (Special) degree will be awarded after completing five years of law course. The admission into these courses as per the university norms.
