Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari was established in 1965 located in the historic road of Dandi March. The university gained the separate campus in 2004. The university caters to the needs of the farmers of the plantation crops in the state of Gujarat. The university is an autonomous university providing various UG & PG courses in the agriculture and research.
Campus
The University has sprawling farm land of 400 hectares located on the historic road of Dandi March around 3 km from Navsari railway station and 8 km from the National Highway No. 8. The Navsari Agricultural University has four fully developed faculties of agriculture, horticulture, forestry and Veterinary, 2 Zonal Research Stations (Navsari and Bharuch), three main crop based research station (cotton, sorghum and mango), 3 regional research station (Waghai, Vyara and Gandevi) and 6 verification/testing centers.
Facilities
Navsari Agriculture University provides all necessary facilities which are the primary needs of any student. The university has many facilities in the campus boundaries like gymnasium, hostels for boys and girls, lecture halls, farms for research, health care centre, ATM, cafeteria, connectivity and transport. The university has well-maintained and spacious classrooms, ventilated labs, well-equipped auditorium with maximum numbers of seating arrangement and a central library with large collection of books.
Programmes
The University offered Diploma courses in Agriculture at Waghai, Vyara and Bharuch; Horticulture at Navsari and Paria, Animal Husbandry at Navsari and Agricultural Engineering at Dediyapada. The short duration certificate courses on Bakery, Land-scaping & Gardening are also run for rural youths by the University at Navsari. The University also offers the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate courses in their various campuses. The courses offered by the university are:

Placement
The cell provides a well-developed training and placement in order to upgrade the student’s technical, aptitude as well as communication skills. The placement cell has maintained good relations between industries so as to provide placement opportunities to the deserving students.
