NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Pharmacy, Mumbai

NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Pharmacy was established in the year of 2004 and run under a public charitable trust named National Centre for Rural Development. This institution is affiliated to University of Mumbai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Pharmacy Council of India and Government of Maharashtra.

Campus

The institution has a sprawling campus situated in Nerul, Navi Mumbai capital city of the state of Maharashtra. This institution is well accessible by rail from the Seawood Railway Station and by road from the NH-4 or the Palm Beach Road.

Facilities

This institution has a spacious library which has a vast collection of reference books, journals, projects, reports, etc. covering the area of pharmaceutical sciences. It houses 12 laboratories equipped with instruments and machinery for all departments. It also has a spacious air conditioned auditorium with the seating arrangement for 500 students to organize seminars, conferences and other functions. It houses an herbal garden which contains various rare plants with unique medicinal attributes.

Programmes

NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Pharmacy gives admission in B.Pharma and D.Pharma courses. The duration of B.Pharma programme is four years and D.Pharma course is two years. To get admission in B.Pharma courses, students should have cleared the 10+2 or equivalent exam with science subjects. Some popular pharmacy courses offered by this institution are given here:

Placement

This institution has a training and placement cell which support students to get job placements in many reputed companies.
