Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) is one of the oldest institution of higher education and learning that was established in the year of 1964. The university is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). There are 180 learning institutions that are affiliated to the University. The University is accredited by NAAC with Grade B.
Campus
The Campus is located at Amanaka G.E.Road Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The University has a sprawling campus that is spread over 207 acres. It has 29 education departments out of which 6 departments structures have been built recently. The university is well-connected with road, rail and air facility. The nearest railway station of Raipur is situated 5 km away from the university. The Raipur Airport is located 15 km far from the university.
Facilities
There is facility of health care centers, guest house, computer center, canteen, sports facility and many more. The University has three separate hostels for both girls and boys out of which one hostel is for girls and two hostels for boys. The University also has a central library with a collection of lots of books, journals, newspaper, magazines and periodical. There is also an anti-ragging cell, women’s centers and sexual harassment cell.

The PRSU has a well established Training & Placement cell. The placement cell is the interface between the corporate world and the institute.
