S J M College of Pharmacy, Chitradurga

S J M College of Pharmacy, Chitradurga was established in 1983. The college is Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore. The motto of the college is to optimize health of all members of society through the promotion of safe, effective and rational medicine use through pharmaceutical care.

Campus

It is situated in the outskirts of the Karnataka city at National highway (NH-4), bye-pass in Chitradurga district. The campus is spreads over sprawling 49 acres of land which is located far away from hustle & bustle of the city. The college is having a well-established buildings housed with academic & administration blocks with all major amenities.

Facilities

The college offers various infrastructural facilities within the campus. It has well-furnished classrooms with all teaching aids, updated and computerized library, departmental laboratories of all subjects, and adequate numbers of computer lab. It has buses as a transportation facility for teachers and students. It also provides extracurricular activities like NSS, NCC, sports, Cultural and others.

S J M College of Pharmacy offers programmes in diploma, bachelor, master, Post graduate and in Ph.D in Pharmacy with full-duration courses. The courses offered by the college in pharmacy are recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the Pharmacy council of India (PCI), New Delhi. Placement

It has separate training & placement cell which conducts the various programs related to placement for the students. The cell arranges the on-campus interviews and also job fairs. Students of the college are well-placed in reputed organizations or industries. Most of the reputed industries visited the college and hired students of the pre/final year.
