S.K.J Law College, Muzaffarpur

S.K.J Law College, Muzaffarpur was founded on 30th May 1948 in the name of Bihar Kesari, Sri Krishna Singh who is the 1st minister of Bihar. It is also called as Sri Krishna Jubilee Law College. The college is affiliated to the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University. It is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

Campus

The college campus is situated near the National highway – 77, Gannipur road, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The college is well-linked with the road & railway facility. Ram Dayalu Nagar Station is the nearest railway station that is located 0.95 km away from the college.

Facilities

There is well-maintained library with lots of collection of the books, national & international journals, magazines, periodicals newspapers, etc related to law. The college offers facilities of the moot court room, canteen, medical, seminar hall, conference hall, indoor & outdoor sports, etc. There is a well-established classroom with the facility of LCD Projector & audio-visual aids. The computer labs are well-equipped with internet facility.

Programmes

S.K.J Law College, Muzaffarpur runs undergraduate & postgraduate courses in the field of law. The college offers three years Bachelor of Law (LLB) & five years integrated Bachelor of Law (LLB) Courses.

Law Course:

  • LLB – 3 years
  • BA.LLB – 5 years

Admission

Students seek admission into three years LLB course, they have to complete their graduation degree from recognized university. For admission into five years integrated law course, students have to qualify their 10+2 or equivalent examination. Students have to secure minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination. The selection will be based on the qualifying examination marks & entrance test conducted by the B R Ambedkar Bihar University.
