Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology and Science, Dehradun

Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology and Science (SGRRITS), Dehradun was formed in the year of 1994. The Institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). SGRRITS is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU). The college has the faculty of pharmaceutical sciences which runs UG, PG and doctoral courses in the field of pharmacy.

Campus

The SGRRITS campus is located at Patel Nagar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The Institution has a state-of-the-art infrastructure with all the modern and latest facilities. The campus has a separate administrative block and student blocks.

Facilities

The SGRRITS has well-equipped Laboratories with all the modern facilities. The Institution also provides the facility of library with over 50 national and international journals along with e-journal (ebsco). There is also a 5 hostel blocks with a capability of 555 students is available on a first come first serve basis. The Hotel is particularly designed with two primary objectives of comfort and safety. There is also a computer lab, spacious auditorium, well-established classrooms with the facility of Internet and LCD Projector, mess and canteen, sports facility. The Institution has fully-equipped lecture halls with the audio-visual equipments.

Programmes

The Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology and Science offer three years full-time Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and two years Master of Business Administration (MBA). The BBA course is affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal Central University, Srinagar and MBA course is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University. The colleges also offers UG, PG and doctoral pharmacy courses.

Placement

The SGRRITS T & P cell acts as a bridge between students and the companies. The placement cell conducts Skill Development, Grooming session, Mock Interviews, Personality Development Programmes, Group Discussion and Pre-Placement talks. The Training and Placement cell invited reputed companies through campus placement for employment opportunities. The main recruiters are Ranbaxy, HCL, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Stanmax, Axis Bank and so many.
