Sitabai Thite College of Pharmacy, Pune was established in year 1995 with the aim to impart quality education with value based system which would empower the upcoming generation. The college has approval of various governing body like All India Council for technical education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to the university of Pune and MSBTE, Mumbai for both B.Pharma & D.Pharma.
The college campus has a sprawling campus which spreads over 7 acres of land with state-of-the-art infrastructure. It is located in the centre of the city and easily accessible from any place by public transport and college bus.
The college is provided with state-of-the-art facilities for the students in its campus. It has furnished classrooms, well-equipped laboratory facility, lab with modern facilities, computer lab with Hi-speed internet connectivity, conference hall for conducting seminar, well-organized library and e-library, separate hostel for girls and boys, training & placement cell. The college also provides extra-curricular activities to enhance the student’s personal talent and many others.
The college offers diploma (1995) & degree (2001) in pharmacy. Currently the college is offering the Bachelor and Diploma course. A four year full time degree course in pharmacy is offered by college with intake of 60 students annually which is approved by Pharmacy council of India and Government of Maharashtra. A two-year full-time diploma in pharmacy is also offered in college with 60 students as intake capacity. So, the courses offered by the college are:
A separate TPC is established by the college to cater to the employment and entrepreneurial skills of students. The cell arranges campus interviews and the majority are placed through TPC. TPC also organizes MOCK interviews for personality development and interview technique development of students. Most of the students are recruited in companies like Lupin, Cipla, Murli-krishna, Fresenius Eddy, IPCA, etc.
