Smt. Chandaben Mohanbhai Patel Homoeopathic Medical College was established in the year 1957. The college is run by the Homeopathic Education Society. It is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and approved by Central Council of Homoeopathy.

The institution offers course in Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S). The duration of the B.H.M.S course is five and a half years along with the compulsory rotational internship of one year. The candidates those want to apply for the B.H.M.S course must have passed the 12th standard examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to in such subjects and with standard of attainment as may be prescribed.
