World Institute of Technology, Gurgaon

World Institute of Technology (WIT) was started in the academic year 2007-2008 as a private and self-financing institution. The WIT is affiliated to the Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak and Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSBE), Panchkula. The WIT institution is approved by the AICTE, DTE, MHRD and state government of Haryana.

Campus:

The WIT campus is situated in Sohna on the Sohna – Palwal National Highway-71 B in Gurgaon, the district of Haryana. The campus is 8 km away from the Sohna and 24 km from the Gurgaon City.

Programmes:

The WIT is offering the eight academic courses as 4 B.Tech courses, 2 diploma courses, one M.Tech course and one BBA course in the field of engineering, technology and management study.

Students:

For all courses the WIT is offering the 558 seats as the annual capacity of the students.

Facilities:

The WIT campus is housed in the administrative building, academic blocks, central library, hostel for boys and girls, internet labs, playground, canteen, guest house and gymnasium. The WIT provides the various additional facilities like, sports, LMS system software, cafeteria and transportation.

Activities:

Apart from the academic education, the MIT conducts the various extracurricular activities like fashion show, talent show and debates. The campus also organizes the workshop and seminar as the co-curricular activities.

Placement:

In the year 2008 the WIT has established a Resource Planning & Management Cell (RPMC) which is functioning as the Training & Placement Cell. The RPMC is providing the guaranteed placement to the students follows the eligible criteria as 75% of attendance & assessments and scored 60%+ from 10th onwards.
