Prasad Institute of Technology, Jaunpur

Prasad Institute of Technology (PIT) is a subsidiary of Prasad Group of Institution. The PIT was established in the year 2002, set up by the Prasad Educational Trust. The PIT is a private and self-financing institution. The PIT is approved by the AICTE, PCI, MHRD, MHFW, UP-BTE and State government. The PIT is affiliated to the UP Technical University.

Campus

The PIT campus is situated on the Jaunpur – Azamgarh Road in Jaunpur district of UP. The campus is 5 km away from the Jaunpur City, on the bank of river Gomti and spread over in 40 acres of land. It is 60 km away from the Varanasi District and 100 km from the Allahabad district.

Programmes

The PIT offers MBA programme in five disciplines of management study, B.Tech programmes in five disciplines of engineering & technology. This institution also offers pharmacy courses. Some most sought courses are listed here:

At present, the PIT is offering the total 576 seats as annual intake of the students in all programmes. The strength of PIT is 1500 students on the campus.

Facilities

The PIT is a fully wi-fi enabled campus with 100 Mbps internet speed which has been provided in its computer lab. The PIT campus provides an automated (TLS) library with more than 25000 of volumes, and the membership with DELNET. The campus houses in separate hostel for boys and girls, canteen, bank, hospital and academic block.

The PIT is striving for groom-up the talent of their students by various development programmes as the social and cultural activities.

Placement

The PIT campus has a department of Training and placement which is regularly coordinating with various industries for summer trainings and internships for the students. The cell assists to the students for their career planning, counselling and provides best job placement.
