UGC NET Exam Update: The National Testing Agency is the authority that will conduct the UGC NET 2025 December cycle examination and release all the details regarding the examination.

The UGC NET examination is conducted to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor positions and for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges. The test comprises two papers: Paper I on teaching and research aptitude, and Paper II on the candidate’s chosen subject.
NTA will first release the UGC NET 2025 December information bulletin, which will have all the details regarding the examination, followed by the notification and registration form. The only mode to fill out the UGC NET 2025 registration form is online.
While applying, candidates are required to pay an application fee. ₹1,150 for General or Unreserved category candidates, ₹600 for OBC-NCL and EWS candidates, and ₹325 for SC, ST, PwD, and Third Gender candidates.
UGG NET exam will be held in computer-based mode. Candidates will be given 180 minutes (3 hours), and there will be no break between Paper 1 & Paper 2. There will be two shifts for the examination (Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM).
