Admission to UG & PG courses in various specializations of maritime will be given through IMU CET Exam and other national level exams such as CUET/ GATE/CAT/MAT/CMAT etc. IMU conducts the centralized counselling followed by the Common Entrance Test for the qualified candidates who will score the qualifying marks in the entrance test.

In order to get admission in the university and its affiliated institutions, it will be necessary to appear in the IMU CET entrance exam 2025.
After the successful completion of the exam, the centralized online counselling will be conducted by the competent authority. Candidates must check their results from the website and their ranks in the merit list.
Candidates will be able to choose the courses on the basis of their ranks in the merit list. Only qualified candidates will be allowed to take part in the counselling procedure. Candidates will have to pay the non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 10,000/-.
IMU CET 2025 Cut off will decide whether the candidates are qualified for the examination or not. IMU CET 2025 Online Counselling Instructions
The competent authority organises the online counselling for which candidates will have to register themselves on the website. IMU CET 2025 Online Counselling will be started in third week of June 2025 for all courses except for BBA Programme.
The candidates will get shortlisted on the basis of IMU CET 2025 scores. The seats will be allotted to candidates in the counselling session. For the allocation of seats, candidates will have to go through the verification of original mark sheets, certificates and physical fitness certificates etc.
Through online counselling, candidates will get admissions only to the IMU campuses. IMU affiliated institutions will not be allowed to participate in the online counselling.

IMU CET 2025 Admission
Candidates after qualifying the written test will proceed to the further counselling procedure. Candidates seeking admission in the affiliated institutions of the IMU will be directly approached to the particular institutions.
Admissions will be only offered after the complete verification of all the documents. In case any certificate found to be false, the candidature of the candidates will be cancelled at that particular moment.
Candidates those names will be published on the website after allotment of seats will have to submit the Rs. 25,000/- towards programme fee to confirm their seats.
