Bennett University Eligibility Criteria

Check Bennett University eligibility criteria for admission into B.Tech/ MBA and various other UG/ PG courses:

B.Tech CSE:

• Qualification: Passed 12th level or equivalent examination from any recognised board or university.
• Required subjects: Students should have passed XII standard with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject and any third subject. Three higher level and 3 standard level subjects.
• Minimum Marks: Students should have passed 12th with minimum 55% marks. For IB Board, minimum score of 24 credits is required.
• Selection: Students will be selected based on merit scores of 12th (best of 3 subjects score, comprising of Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects and any other third subject with highest score).
• Scholarship Bases: Students will be given scholarships based on JEE, XII, SAT and IB scores.

MBA Programme:

• Qualification: Students with Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised institute or university.
• Marks: Candidates should have passed Bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks.
• Required Subjects: Students should have passed Graduation with English as medium of instruction.
• Selection: Selection of students is done based on valid scores of CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ BU MAT /CUET percentile score & Graduation & Personal Interview (Sept MAT 2024, Dec MAT 2024).
• Scholarship Bases: Students will be given scholarships based on CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ BU MAT percentile/ GMAT/ GRE score/ Graduation score.

Other Criteria:

• Students applying should be less than 21 years of age as on August 1, 2026. In exceptional cases (exceptions possible).
• PWD candidates shall get a 2% marks relaxation in admission criteria than that followed for general category candidates on a case to case basis.
• The wards of defence personnel will get a 2% marks relaxation in admission criteria than that followed for general category candidates.
• Students from all boards (ISC, IB, State Boards, CBSE, Cambridge International A levels and other International Examination Boards) can apply and there is no restriction with respect to Board of study.
• The applicants taken standardised tests measuring the student holistically such as SAT are encouraged to provide the scores in the application.
• ST/ SC / Wards of Kashmiri migrants shall be drawn subject to 5% eligibility, on the marks which shall be 5% marks below the lowest  marks on which general category candidates are admitted.

Result for Bennett University 2026 is announced through online mode on the website. Merit list for Bennett University 2026 is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in national level entrance exam and 12th class scores. 

Those applicants whose name appears in the merit list will be called for the further admission procedure. For different courses, there is a separate merit list released by the university.
