B.Tech (CSE):

• Qualifying Level: Applying candidates must have passed 12th level from a recognised board or University.
• Qualifying Subjects: Students should have passed 12th level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects or its equivalent.
• Appearing: Students appearing or results awaited in qualifying exam are also eligible.
• Admission procedure: Students are given admission on the basis of merit prepared in qualifying exam.
• Scores accepted: For admission in B.Tech, GEU also accepts JEE Main scores.

MBA:

• Qualifying Level: Students should have Bachelors degree of 3 years duration with 50% marks from a recognised university OR appeared in aptitude test.
• Provisional admission: On the basis of projected scores, seats are to be allocated.
• Admission procedure: It is compulsory for the students to undergo aptitude test and PI/ self introduction video.
• Exemption: Aptitude test will be exempted if students 75 percentile in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT or 210 score in NMAT. Also, it is exempted for ALUMNI.

Graphic Era University Admission Process 2026

The admission procedure in Graphic Era University starts with the release of application forms. Based on the merit scores of qualifying level, students are provided admission in GEU. The university also accepts admission via national level test scores like JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, etc.

The University also organises GECET which is a university level entrance exam through which attractive scholarship offers and financial support is given to meritorious students. Only after completing all steps of admission process, candidates are considered eligible for final admission.

Graphic Era Common Entrance Test (GECET) 2026

Graphic Era University conducts its university level entrance test – Graphic Era Common Entrance Test (GECET) every year. It identifies exceptional talent and provides support to the individuals to thrive in their chosen programme. It is organised in two phases with numerous scholarship opportunities serving as a basis for admission in different courses.

GECET is conducted in online mode and students can take it using their laptops or desktops. The exam will be of 2 hours duration in which students have to attempt 100 questions. Exam for up to 2 courses can be attempted

Graphic Era University 2026 Merit List

The University will release the merit list containing the names of qualified candidates for admission. Separate merit list is announced for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The merit published on website is prepared on the basis of performance of students in the qualifying exam. Only the students declared qualified can proceed further for the counselling procedure.

Graphic Era University 2026 Cut Off

Graphic Era University 2026 Counselling

Students who have successfully qualified the GECET entrance exam or listed in the merit list, are considered eligible for participating in counselling process. Provisional admission will be granted to students by allocating them seats according to their chosen field.

Seat allocation will be done based on projected scores (12th)/ 10th/ qualifying level of the meritorious students. Documents will be verified following the submission of admission fee. The list of documents to  be verified are:
