HPCET 2026 Counselling

Candidates who desire to seek admission to various UG & PG courses are required to apply online by filling out the counselling cum admission form. Applicants are advised to apply for HPCET 2026 counselling procedure before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria. 

Candidates applying for centralized counselling through National level entrance exam have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1600/- for General/EWS/OBC category and Rs.800/- for SC/ST and BPL/IRDP category. No fee is charged to candidates who are applying on the basis of HPCET 2026.

• Online Registration & Form Filling: In the first steps, applicants are required to register for counselling procedure on the admission portal. To register, applicants have to provide their user login ID and password. After successful registration, candidates have to fill in a counselling- cum admission form by entering personal and communicational details.
• Uploading of Documents: To complete the form, candidates need to upload their passport-size photographs and signature, and other relevant documents in a size not less than 30KB and more than 50KB in JPG/ JPEG format.
• Choice Filling: While filling out the Counselling-cum-Admission form, candidates have to fill in any five choices of branches and institutes for the selected courses. Candidates must note that the selection of programmes and institutes must be provided in order of their preferences only.
• Fee Payment: Those candidates who do not have a valid HPCET 2026 scorecard are required to pay a non-refundable counselling fee via online mode such as internet banking/debit card/credit card/UPI etc. Counselling-cum-Admission form processing fee is Rs.1600/- General/EWS/OBC category and Rs. 800/- for SC/ST and BPL/IRDP candidates. No fee for students applying through HPCET scores only.
• Seat Allotment: Candidates who have successfully submitted their counselling form are listed in seat allotment. Based on the seat allotment, candidates are called to report at HPCET counselling venue. Aspirants are allotted seats as per their choices of preferences of institutes & branches, rank obtained, and seat availability.
• Confirmation of Admission: Those candidates who are allotted a seat in the centralized counselling procedure are required to report at the allotted venue for document verification and fee payment to confirm their admission. 

Documents Required for HPCET 2026 Counselling

Candidate must produce the following documents, in original, along-with photocopies duly attested at the time of admission:

• Passing Certificate of the qualifying examination. 
• Marksheet of 10th/12th/graduation, as required. 
• Matriculation/Higher Secondary School Certificates as proof of date of birth. 
• National Level Entrance Examination /HPCET-2026 Score Card. 
• Character Certificate  
• Bonafide /domicile Certificate. 
• Reserved Category Certificate
• Physically Challenged Certificate 
• Income Certificate, under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme. 
• Affidavit, if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme (Single Girl Child).  
• Kashmiri Migrants & domicile certificate, if applied under Supernumerary Kashmiri Migrant Quota. 
• Certificate issued by a Class-I Gazetted Officer/Notary Public 

HPCET 2026 Cut Off

After the conduct of HPCET 2026 entrance exam, the authority prepares a cut off for selecting the eligible candidates for admission into UG & PG courses at various participating institutes. Applicants can check the HPCET Cut Off 2026 through online mode by visiting the website.

Those applicants who successfully meet the minimum cut off marks are given higher preferences for admission. For determining the cut-off marks, various factors are taken into consideration such as marks obtained in an entrance exam, seat availability, past year’s cut off trends, etc.

HPCET 2026 Seat Allotment & Admission

HPCET 2026 Seat allotment will be released on the basis of rank obtained, seat availability at various institutes, and choices of preferences filled by applicants. The selection letter is issued to selected candidates after the completion of all the formalities. 

Selected candidates will have to report at the allotted institution for admission on or before the date and time specified in the selection letter. While reporting for admission, applicants will have to produce their original documents for verification and submit admission fees.
