KVPY 2021 Answer Key

Candidates can check the correct answers of all questions asked for all the streams. The authority has released the answer keys along with the questions paper.

The KVPY answer key has been released through online mode. The answer key has been released in the form of pdf. Candidates can tally their markswith the help of corrected answer key.

KVPY 2021 Result

KVPY Result has been declared by the IISC through online mode. It has been declared on 24th June 2022. On the basis of result, the merit list is prepared for each stream (SA, SB, and SX). Candidates who will reach minimum cut off will be listed in the merit list.

To check the result candidates have to enter their login credentials. The candidates who will get short-listed will be further called for selection or counselling process.

KVPY 2021 Cut Off

The authority has released KVPY Cut-Off marks for all streams and categories. It is necessary for the candidates to score equal to or more than the cut off marks to qualify the entrance test.

The cut-off is released through online mode. The candidates who will secure the cut off marks will be only called for attending the counselling process.

KVPY 2021 Counselling/ Selection

Based on the performance of the candidate in the aptitude test, they will be shortlisted for next round of admission process. Candidates will be called for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure.

For receiving a fellowship, both aptitude test and interview marks will be considered. Shortlisted candidates will have to bring the original certificates for verification. After the verification of documents, they will be provided final admission.

KVPY 2021 Admit Card

Candidates can download the admit card for the aptitude test from the website from 4th May 2022.

Candidates can get their admit card by logging in to their application portal at KVPY website. In the KVPY hall ticket, candidates can check their examination venue and seat number.

Along with the admit card candidates must bring valid School/College ID or Aadhar Card or Passport with clear photograph. Students without the admit card and valid ID will not be permitted to appear for the aptitude test.

KVPY 2021 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode.
  • Language of Exam: The question paper will be asked in English & Hindi.
  • Type of Questions: The questions will be of objective
  • Duration of Exam: The exam duration will be of 3 hours.
  • Marks: The complete question paper will be of 100 marks.

KVPY 2021 Syllabus

There will be no prescribed KVPY syllabus for the aptitude test provided by the officials. The aptitude test is to test the understanding and analytical ability of the student than his/her factual knowledge. However, students are tested for the syllabus up to class X/XII/1st year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./ B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. as applicable.

KVPY 2021 Preparation Tips

Candidates should go through the preparation tips given below to appear in the examination:

  • Go through exam pattern & the syllabus prescribed by the officials.
  • Candidates can also take online mock test.
  • Also, go through previous year question papers.
  • Make short notes on a daily basis and revise them.
  • Go through best seller books available in the market.
  • Do meditation & yoga and also take healthy food.

Answer: The registration process can be done till 6th September 2021.

Answer: KVPY does not allow simultaneously fellowship /scholarship from more than one source, either government or private. In case they are in receipt of any other fellowship or scholarship, they will have to give up it in order to avail the KVPY Fellowship.

KVPY 2021 Application Form

Candidates should complete all the steps of KVPY 2021 Registration which are given below:

  • Candidates can fill the application form through online mode.
  • No hard copy of the application is available by the official authority.
  • First of all, candidates have to do registration to fill the application form.
  • The application form has been made available form the 12th July 2021.
  • It is necessary to fill personal and academic details, choosing test centres and uploading photo, signature and other certificates.
  • Correction in exam city preferences has been started from 22nd to 28th March 2022.
  • Candidates have to pay the application fee and take the printout of completely filled-in application form.
  • Candidates should keep the printout of application fee till the admission process gets over.

Application Fee:

The fee can be done by using a Credit Card, ATM-Debit Card or Net Banking. No other mode of payment is accepted.  Once the payment is done and application is submitted, no refund of application fee will be done. The application fees for KVPY 2021 are as follows:

  • For General/OBC Category: Rs. 1250/-
  • For SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 625/- (Bank Charges extra)

KVPY 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria given below to appear in the KVPY 2021 examination.

Nationality: Candidates must be citizen of India.

For SA Stream:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed their 10th class from a recognized board.
  • Subjects: Applying candidate must have passed 10th level with mandatory subjects of Science & Mathematics.
  • Required Percentage: Candidates must have scored minimum of 60% marks 50% for reserved category candidates).
  • Appearing Candidate: Such candidates are also eligible to apply.

For SX Stream:

  • Qualifying Exam: Applying candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination.
  • Subjects: Candidates should have passed 12th level with Science subjects (PCB / PCM).
  • Required Percentage: Candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks in class 12th (50% for reserved category candidates).
  • Appearing Candidate: Those are appearing or waiting for their 12th level result can also apply.

For SB Stream:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates those are in the first year of their UG degree are eligible to apply.
  • Subjects: Candidates having UG degree in Basic Sciences should have science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology leading to B.Sc. /B.S. /B.Stat/B.Math. /Int. MS. /Int. M.Sc.
  • Required Percentage: One should have scored 60% marks (50% for reserved category candidates) in Mathematics & Science in 12th.
