SGT University 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech Course: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must pass class 10+2 exam from a recognized university to be eligible. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates need to score at least 60% marks to apply. 
• Subject: Candidates must have Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Information Technology, etc in the qualifying exam.

For BBA Course: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have class 10+2 exam from a recognized board. 
• Subject: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have an English subject to be eligible. 
• Marks: To be eligible for the exam, candidates are required to obtain at least 60% marks in aggregate. 

For M.Tech Course: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university. 
• Marks: To be eligible for exam, candidates must score at least 60% marks in aggregate. 

For MBA Course: 

• Qualification: Applicants must be graduated in any discipline from a recognized university to apply. 
• Marks: To be eligible, candidates must score at least 55% marks.

SGT University 2026 Admission Procedure 

Admission procedure of SGT University 2026 will depend on various factors such as application form, fee payment, interview, entrance exam, etc. Candidates will be able to get admission into various courses based on the SGTU-CET entrance exam. Seats will be allocated to the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in the entrance exam. 

Admission will also be provided based on various national level entrance exam scores such as CLAT/ MAT/ GATE/ JEE Main/ NIFT. Those candidates who have appeared in the JEE Main exam will be given preferences. The university will also release the merit list based on the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance exam. 

SGT University 2026 Entrance Exam (SGTU-CET)

SGT University conducts its own entrance exam to provide admission into various offered courses. It will be conducted in July 2026. Exam will be conducted through online mode. 

SGTU CET (SGT University Common Entrance Test) is the exam conducted to provide admission. To get admission into various courses, candidates will necessarily need to qualify the entrance exam. 

SGT University 2026 Merit List

The merit list of SGT University 2026 will be released through online mode. Candidates will be able to get the result from August 2026. Based on the performance of candidates in the entrance exam/ national level exam, the merit list will be released by the university. 

It will consist of the names of candidates who successfully qualify the entrance exam. Those qualified candidates in the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the further counseling procedure. Candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy of the result safe for further references. 

SGT University 2026 Counselling 

SGT University 2026 Counselling will be organized through online mode. Those shortlisted candidates in the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in counselling session. Based on the rank obtained by the candidates on merit list, candidates will be called by the university. 

Seat will be allocated to the candidates based on the merit rank and cut off marks. As per the schedule, counselling dates will be different for various courses. Candidates will be required to qualify the GD and PI rounds to get admission into Postgraduate courses. Final admission will be given after verifying the documents. Candidates will have to carry the original documents for the verification procedure.
