SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) organized a university level admission process to provide admission into various UG & PG level programmes.

Established in the year 1985, SRM University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and the AICTE also accredited by the NBA and NAAC with an A++ grade. Admission will also be provided based on CUET scores. SRM University also conduct their own admission test i.e. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) to provide admission.

SRM 2026 Application Form

Candidates can go through the section below to know SRM 2026 application form:

• Application form for SRM 2026 is releasing in the second week of November 2025 for various UG & PG level courses.
• Online facility will be available to submit the registration form, no offline method will be provided.
• Registration form for CUET PG 2026 will be started from the first week of January 2026 via online mode.
• Apply through CUET UG 2026 is starting from the first week of March 2026 on the NTA website.
• Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria first before proceeding toward form filling process.
• During form filling, candidates will have to enter the required details such as personal, academic, communicational details, etc.
• Complete the process by uploading the scanned images such as Photograph & Signature in prescribed format.
• It will be mandatory to complete the application form procedure before the last date as there will be no extension in apply.
• After submitting the form, do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form for further usage.

Application Fee:

• Candidates will be able to submit the application fee via online mode.
• Rs. 1200/- will be the application fee to apply for SRM Admission 2026.

SRM 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can go through the section below to know complete eligibility criteria:

• Nationality: Candidates with Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI) of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India will be eligible to apply.
• Qualification: Applicants with 10+2 passed from a recognized board will be eligible to apply.
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 60% aggregate marks to apply.
• Age Limit: To apply for SRM, candidates age should be 16 years and 6 months as on 31st July 2026.
• Subject: Students with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Information technology/ Engineering Graphics etc subjects in qualifying exam will apply.

SRMIST 2026 Admission Procedure

There are two gateways for admission in SRMIST, i.e. entrance based or non-entrance based. For entrance based, candidates will have to qualify the SRM entrance test. After the result announced, candidates can participate in the counselling process.

Besides, SRM Admission Test admissions will also be provided through merit lists or other national level entrance tests like NEET, CAT, XAT, MAT, UCEED, CEED etc. Candidates appeared in the national level entrance test can directly apply for the counselling process.

SRM University Entrance Test 2026

SRM University mostly offer admission in various UG/PG courses through entrance test. The university will conduct SRMJEEE (UG) exam for B.Tech courses, SRMJEEE (PG) for M.Tech courses and SRMJEEM for MBA courses.

The SRM Admission Test will be conducted through online mode in different phases. It will be a remote proctored online test. Students can appear for this exam from their home or anywhere. There will be no negative marking done in the exam. Questions will be asked from the relevant subjects of the respective courses.

SRM University Result/Merit List 2026

The university will release the result after the few days of entrance test date. SRM University Result will be provided via online mode. Candidates are required to login by entering their application number and DOB to check the result.

On the basis of result/merit, candidates will be invited for counselling. Candidates must keep their result safe till the admission procedure. For few courses, SRMIST merit list will be prepared as per the marks scored in 12^th /graduation or other qualifying exam.

SRM University Counselling 2026

SRMIST will organize the counselling process through online mode. SRMIST Counselling will be conducted in various phases as depending on the vacant seats. Majority of admissions will be done through entrance test conducted by the university but for few courses admissions will be provided directly.

During the SRM University counselling process, candidates must fill their choices. Once the seat is allotted, candidates must pay the required fee within given time frame and after that PAL (Provisional Allotment Letter) will be generated. After that candidates will have to report to the allotted campus and complete their admission formalities.
