TNEA 2025 Application Form will be made available in first week of May 2025. TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) is a state level admission procedure organised by Anna University. It is organised to offer admission in UG Engineering programs such as B.Tech and B.E. courses.

Candidates are offered admission on the basis of scores of 12th examination. Selected candidates are provided admission in various government and private institutes affiliated by Anna University within Tamil Nadu state. TNEA 2025 Application Form

These are some points to be remembered while filling the TNEA Application Form 2025:

• TNEA 2025 Application Form filling will start in first week of May 2025.
• Candidates will have to fill the application form through online  mode.
• Candidates will have to provide their personal, communication and qualification details for registration process.
• Application form will be filled with details like personal and qualification details.
• Candidates are advised to go through eligibility criteria of TNEA 2025 before filling the form.
• Upload a scanned image of photograph and signature in the suggested format.
• The application form must be submitted before last date i.e., first week of June 2025.

How to Apply for TNEA 2025 

Follow these steps to fill the TNEA 2025 Application Form:

• Step-1: Go to website of TNEA 2025 (link will be given above).
• Step-2: Click on “New Registration” button.
• Step-3: Enter a valid phone number and email ID for registration.
• Step-4:  After successful registration, fill in application form with personal and qualification details.
• Step-5: Upload necessary documents and images like photograph, signature etc in prescribed size.
• Step-6: Click on “Save and Continue” button.
• Step-7: Take the printout of application form that appeared in PDF format.

TNEA 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the following criteria to be eligible to apply for TNEA 2025:

General Criteria: 

Nativity:

• Candidates who have passed 8th standard to 12th standard from schools situated within Tamil Nadu from any recognised board will be eligible.
• Candidates who passed 8th standard to 12th standard from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu from any recognised board will have to produce their Nativity certificate only in Electronic form/digitally signed e-certificate.
• Children of Central Government Employees whose parents or guardians will be serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for past 5 years will be eligible to apply by providing  a certificate from employer of parent or guardian.
• Candidates who are Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee studies in Tamil Nadu will be considered under open competition.  These candidates will have to provide following documents:
• Identification certificate from Head Quarters Tahsildar
• Candidates not registered in refugee camps will have to produce an original passport, visa and letter registered with police station.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have completed their 11th or 12th class or equivalent from any recognised board. 
• It is mandatory to pass with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for admission.
• The minimum marks required to apply for TNEA 2025 will be as given:

Marine Engineering Course:

• Age Limit: The upper age limit of candidates will be 25 years.
• Qualification: Candidates must pass 12th intermediate or equivalent from any recognised board.
• Marks: A minimum score of 60% in PCM and 50% in English.
• Subject: Candidates must pass the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

TNEA 2025 Rank List

TNEA Rank List 2025 will be released in fourth week of June 2025 through online mode. Candidates will be able to check the rank list by entering their login credentials like email ID and password. The authority will prepare a merit list on the basis of candidate’s marks in qualifying examination. 

Those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks will be listed in TNEA 2025 rank list. Candidates selected in the rank list will be invited to participate in counselling rounds for admission in various affiliated institutes.

TNEA 2025 Cut Off

The cut off TNEA 2025 will be published through online mode on the website of authority. TNEA Cut Off 2025 will consist of minimum passing marks required to shortlist candidates for admission.

The authority will release the cut off which will be prepared based on number of candidates applied, availability of seats, performance in qualifying exam etc. Candidates seeking admission in top affiliated colleges will have to achieve the minimum prescribed marks in order to get admission.

TNEA 2025 Counselling

The authority will organise an online counselling procedure for admission to various engineering courses. TNEA Counselling 2025 will consist of 4 rounds and candidates will be able to participate in each round based on their rank. Each round of counselling will include choice filling, allotment, seats confirmation,  and reporting at allotted college. 

Once the seat is allotted to candidates, they will have to confirm their seats by selecting various options like accept and join, accept and upward, decline etc. Candidates will need to bring various documents which will be verified at the time of reporting.
