No entrance exam is organised for offering admissions in the Engineering colleges of the state. The candidates can get admission on the basis of class 12th percentage. On the basis of rank allotted by the university, the admission is offered to the eligible candidates.

For Engineering Courses:

Admission Dates for Engineering: 

For engineering, the notification for online registration form has been released on 3rd May 2026. Candidates are able to fill the TNEA application form from 3rd May 2026 through online mode. 

The last date to fill TNEA 2026 application form will be till 5th June 2026. Candidates are allowed to upload their documents till 6th June 2026. 

The university has assigned the random number to those candidates who will submit their application form within stipulated time. The random number has been allotted on 10th June 2026. Candidates will have to visit the TFC’s center for certification verification from 8th to 29th June 2026.

After successful certification verification, the university will publish a TNEA rank list 2026 on 29th June 2026 on the basis of the candidate’s 12th percentage. The certificate verification/ counselling will be started in the fourth week of July 2026 for special category candidates. 

The TNEA counselling 2026 will be started in fourth week of July 2026 for general special reservation category candidates. The general counselling will be organized in fourth week of September 2026, tentatively.

Candidates must read the following information related to TNEA 2026 Application Form:

• TNEA 2026 Application form has been released through online mode.
• The application form has been started from 3rd May 2026. 
• The last date to submit the application form is till 5th June 2026. 
• All the details should be filled correctly in the application form.
• Candidates must have to upload the scanned images of their signature and the photograph while filling the application form.
• The correction facility may not be provided, so candidates are instructed to fill all the details with care.
• Do not send the printout of the application form to the authority.
• The candidates will have to pay the application fee through credit card/ debit card/Internet Banking.
