TNEA 2023 Rank List has been released on 26th June 2023. The rank list is considered by the participating universities for offering admissions. No entrance exam is organized by the University for offering admissions to the engineering colleges. Anna University is the  conducting authority of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). The seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of class 12th class board exam percentage. Candidates can get admission in the various engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu state. TNEA 2023 Rank List – Out

The rank list is considered for admission. The TNEA 2023 result has been released on the basis of merit list. The rank list is released only for the candidates those successfully fill the application form.

The rank list is prepared after the equalizing process on the basis of candidates 12th class marks. TNEA rank list 2023 is published on the website.

TNEA 2023 Counselling has been started from 28th July 2023 for general category candidates. Students can participate in the TNEA 2023 counselling process according to their rank.

TNEA ranks for the various category candidates is prepared on the basis of various factors such that caste categories, reservation criteria, marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and optional subjects (Biology and Computer Sciences).

TNEA Rank Card Releasing Date 2023

The university has released the rank list on 26th June 2023 through online mode only. The counselling is conducted for the ranked candidates by the university.

The counselling has been started from 28th July 2023 for general category candidates. The University also send the counselling call letter by post in which the ranks of the candidates will be mentioned.

The seats are allotted on the basis of ranks in the merit list and choices filled by the candidates.

How to Check TNEA Rank Card

Candidates can check their ranks in the rank card by following the procedure given below:

• Visit the official website link (link is given above).
• Click on that link and result page will open on new tab.
• Enter the email ID and password which is generated at the time of registration.
• Click on the ’Login’ button.
• The rank card/rank list will be generated on your computer screen.
• Check your rank in the generated list and download it.
• Take the printout of rank list and keep secure till admission procedure.

TNEA Merit List

A separate merit list is prepared for offering admissions on the basis of candidate’s 12th standard marks. The higher rank is given to the candidates those have secured higher marks in their 12th class.

Admission is strictly provided on the basis of prepared merit list by the university. Counselling process is conducted separately for the seven categories such as OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST reservation.

Random Number

The random number is the number which is allotted by the university to each candidate. Basically, it is a number which can be allocated to the candidates to attend the counselling. Random number is provided to the candidates before ranking of the candidates for preparing the merit list.

The random number is assigned after verification of the application form. After assigning the random number, the merit list is prepared by the university.
