Akola Law College, Akola

Akola Law College, Akola was formed by the Akola Education Society’s in the year 2005. It is affiliated to the SGB Amravati University, Amravati. The undergraduate and postgraduate law courses offered by the college are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.

Campus

The sprawling campus of Akola Law College is situated in Shikshan Sankul, behind District Court, near Ramdas Peth Police Station, Akola, Maharashtra. The campus is well-connected by roads and other modes of transportation.

Facilities

The college is well-known for its infrastructural facilities. It offers a wide variety of facilities that include a spacious auditorium, computer centre with internet facility, legal aid clinic for practical training of the students, games and sport facilities, well-furnished moot court where moot hearings and moot trials is carried out. The college provides excellent library facilities. Library is stacked with more than 4530 number of books. Students and staff members are also provided with the transportation facility.

Akola Law College offers full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It offers five year integrated LL.B. programme and 2-years LL.M. in the specialization like Criminal Law, Business Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Corporate Law and Human Rights. Admission

Minimum educational eligibility for admission to 5-years integrated law course is Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent passed with 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates). Candidates who have passed LL.B. from any recognized University are eligible for LL.M. programme. Admission to aforesaid law courses will be done as per the University norms.
