Ansal University, Gurgaon

Ansal University (AU) was established in the year 2012 by the State of Haryana under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006 as a private and self-financing University. The courses are approved by the AICTE and Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana. Before recognition, it was running with the name as Ansal Institute of Technology established in the year 2000 and affiliated to the Guru Govind Singh Indraprasth University, New Delhi. One more Group of Institutions named Sushant Group of Institutions established in 1989 by the Chiranjiv Charitable Trust came under the flag of AU since its inception.

Campus:

The Ansal University is located in the heart of the Gurgaon City across the 14 acres of land in the National Capital Region. The AU campus is situated in the Sector-55 on the Golf-course Road in Gurgaon, the district of Haryana. The AU campus is just 3 km away from the DLF Golf-Course. The AU campus consists of six schools named Sushant School of Art & Architecture, Sushant School of Design, School of Engineering & Technology, School of Management Studies, School of International Studies and School of Law.

Students & Faculty:

The AU offers more than 1800 seats as the annual intake capacity of the students in all programmes. The AU campus has more than 150 members of faculty in all programmes and the ratio of faculty and students in the University is 1:12.

Facilities:

The campus provides the value added certification to the students of each discipline of study. The AU provides the education loan and scholarship to the students. The campus provides the sports facility, recreation centre, 24 hour security, separate hostel for boys and girls, lecture theatre, computer lab, language lab, HM lab, library, locker facility, transport facility, cafeteria, snacks bar, coffee day, kiosks, baker house, bank, ATM, shopping malls and medical facility with the leading hospitals within the two km from the campus.

Activities:

The AU campus conducts the Trans-Disciplinary Learning (TDL) as the project work, SPIC MACAY programmes, festival celebrations, fresher party, national education day and annual cultural fest.
