AVREFA College of Ayurveda, Coimbatore
AVREFA College of Ayurveda was founded in the year of 1978 and it is promoted by Arya Vadiyan Rama Varier Educational Foundation of Ayurveda, Coimbatore. This college is affiliated with TN Dr. M.G. R. Medical University, Chennai and has an approval of Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi. This college runs in joint association with R.V.S. Educational Trust, Sulur.
Campus
This college has a well-established campus situated at Trichy Road, Sulur, Coimbatore. Coimbatore is the district of the state of Tamil Nadu. The campus is located in a serene environment and well-approachable by road and rail transportation.
Facilities
The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated and equipped with modern teaching equipments. This college houses various fully furnished hostels to provide residential facility separately for boys and girls. The library is equipped with the vast collection of books, journals, volumes, reports, etc. Apart from books, library has also a collection of audio and video CDS and other databases. It also has an Ayurveda Hospital with 120 beds capacity. Other facilities are well-equipped laboratories for all departments, transport facility, medical facility, sports facility, hygienically maintained canteen, computer center and many others.
