The D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology (DYPET) is part of the Padmashree Dr.D.Y. Patil, Group of Institutions in India. The organization is set up in year 1984. All the courses are certified by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The Institute is an ISO 9001:2008 accredited institute. The DYPET is acknowledged by the AICTE and united to University of Pune.
Campus
The Campus is situated in the region of Pimpri-Chinchwad industrial belt, which is one of the greatest industrial belts in Asia. The Institute campus is placed right behind the Mumbai Pune expressway (old) in Pimpri. The College campus is spread on 40 acres sections of land of the area at Akurdi.
Facilities
The DYPET has well-furnished laboratories with ultra recent facilities. The Central Library is outfitted with reference books, course readings, national and worldwide diaries. There is a hostel facility for all the students with Hot/cold water, Newspaper, 24 hours Security, Indoor games, TV/Common Waiting Hall, Parents Waiting Hall and Medical facility.
