Dolphin (PG) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences, Dehradun was established in the year 2002 by the HNBGU, Srinagar. The institute is affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal) Uttarakhand. The institute is also approved and recognized by the State Government of Utatarkhand. The institute is also approved by Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP). The institute offers well focused programmes in biosciences.

Surrounded by thick forest cover, the Dolphin (PG) Institute lies on the outskirts of the Dehradun. It has ICT enabled modern classrooms, WI-fi campus, well-stocked library and an e-library, separate hostels for boys and girls. The institute offered courses viz. biotechnology, medical microbiology, medical lab technology, physiotherapy, forestry, horticulture, agriculture, botany, zoology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, physics, agronomy, commerce and education. In the Agriculture field it only offers the one degree i.e.:
